Wind Power Generator Design
This project was done during my third year of college.
The goal of this course was to design a small wind power generator (no larger than 2 cubic feet) that could be installed in various places, such as streets, homes and schools, without visually overwhelming people.
I took a sculptural approach to this project and focused on creating aesthetically pleasing machines that fit with homes and parks.

Prototype
After a series of formal explorations, I found out that this particular form was very effective in collecting wind; at the same time, it had a friendly flower-like aesthetic that went well with homes and parks.
The following images show the prototype I built in class. (Approximate dimensions: 1.75ft x 1.75ft x 2ft)
