This was a one-day project during my second year of college, where students had to select an environment and create a paper lamp shade for it. I chose to make a lamp shade that fits Buddhist surroundings. My inspirations came from the lotus flower, one of the most common motifs in Buddhism, which symbolizes the procession of a soul towards enlightenment.
